SRF, the Swiss German speaking national broadcaster, has revealed that Luca Hanni and Kate Ryan will be joining the Arena Plus line up at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Luca Hanni (Switzerland 2019) and Kate Ryan ( Belgium 2006) will be gracing the Arena Plus stage in Basel at St. Jakobs Park on 17 May. They will be joined by Anna Rossinelli (Switzerland 2011), Baby Lasagna (Croatia 2024) etc.

Luca Hanni says:

I’m a big ESC fan and am of course especially looking forward to this year in Switzerland! Performing in a stadium is the greatest and I’m very excited about the extraordinary Cube stage. But above all, I’m looking forward to the whole atmosphere during ESC week, the fans on site and the great mood. It’s all going to be amazing!”

Luca Hanni represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2019 with his epic entry ‘She got me’, achieving a 4th place in the Grand Final.

The Arena Plus will mainly focus on the live viewing of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Grand Final which will be held at the St. Jakobshalle a stone throw’s away. The event will feature live performances by former Eurovision acts and will be hosted by Sven Epiney and Melanie Freymond.
