SSR-SRG, the Swiss national broadcaster has set the date for the Eurovision 2025 Opening Ceremony, show concept, new public value implementation and transportation details reveal.
Thunder and lightning, it’s getting exciting! SSR-SRG the Swiss national broadcaster is working from strength to strength to showcase an extraordinary show come May! Preparations for Eurovision 2025 are well and truly underway in Switzerland.
The Swiss are working round the clock in order to organize a fabulous and entertaining Eurovision edition next May.
SSR-SRG will be holding a special media event in Basel on Monday 14 April to reveal further details on the Eurovision 2025 Opening Ceremony, show concept, transportation in Basel and public value implementation.
The press event will be hosted by Sven Epiney (SRF). The event will be streamed live at 13:30 CET on the ESC official channels and will be in German and English.
The special press event is set to be held on a boat on the river Rhine in the iconic Eurovision host city of Basel.
A grand line up of professionals from SSR-SRG, the Eurovision 2025 Core Team, Basel Tourism, SSB Railway, City of Basel will be present during the press event in order to shed more light on the upcoming Eurovision 2025 edition in Basel:

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 13, 15, 17 May at the St.Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland.
