30 years after they ended last at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest in Luxembourg, Nicole and Hugo have submitted a song for Eurosong 2004, the Belgian national final, organised by the Flemish broadcaster VRT.

“This is the stunt of 2004! We have submitted a song for Eurosong!” Nicole and Huge told to our colleagues of eurosong.be! It is an idea of Studio 100, that produced the musical Zo mooi, zo blond in which Nicole and Hugo appear. Studio 100 also came up with a suitable song.

Nicole and Hugo are very enthousiastic about their bid to go to the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul. “With Baby, baby we ended last in Luxembourg in 1973, so we certainly can�t do worse”, the always happy couple said. If they will really appear in the national final is unknown yet. Tomorrow, broadcaster VRT announces the 28 selected songs for Eurosong 2004.
