ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, has unveiled the name of the 2025 Austrian Eurovision representative.

JJ will have the grand honour of representing Austria at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel.  ORF has opted for an internal selection in order to select the 2025 Austrian entry and act.

The 23 year old Vienna born artist is honoured to represent Austria at Basel.

JJ says:

My heart beats for the big show, and there is nothing bigger than the Eurovision Song Contest.” He was happy about the trust and promised to work hard to “bring an unforgettable performance on stage.

Stefanie Groiss Horowitz ( ORF Programme Director) says:

JJ is an exceptional talent! With him, we are sending a unique artist to Basel who brings his own magic to the Eurovision Song Contest stage, with captivating pop and classical singing.

The Austrian Filipino countertenor has made a name for himself in the world of classical music. He is currently performing at the Vienna State Opera. JJ’s Eurovision entry will be premiered in March.
