DR, the Danish national broadcaster, has unveiled the names of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix  2025 hosts.

Stéphanie Surrugue and Sara Bro will have the grand honour of hosting Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025 for the second consecutive year. The Danish national final is scheduled to be held on Saturday 1 March.

Stéphanie Surrugue says:

It is simply a gigantic pleasure to be aboard Denmark’s biggest party bus again. The community and the bubbling joie de vivre that surrounds Dansk Melodi Grand Prix are something many of us need in the complicated times we live in. At the same time, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is rooted in a Danish and European tradition that has a cultural significance that goes beyond music, and that is why I am really happy to be part of the event together with my very own party rocket of a ‘work wife’.

Sara Bro says:

It was the most magical experience to be there last year, and become part of the beautiful Grand Prix family. There is a very special atmosphere and the best, wildest and most dedicated fans, who create a setting filled with joy and glitter. I hope that people are ready for another Grand Prix party with lots of good music and entertainment – and I look forward to giving everyone at home in their living rooms and everyone who comes to the Box a huge, gigantic welcome, of course together with my great idol & partner Stéphanie Surrugue.

Erik Struve Hansen (DMGP Program Manager)  says:

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is an annual celebration of the Danish music and songwriting tradition. The music, the show and the days surrounding it bring us all together across the country and different generations. Last year, over one million Danes watched, and this is evidence that the show continues to create a great community and commitment across the country. We look forward to celebrating Danish music and the Melodi Grand Prix tradition with the Danes in the days around March 1st with a show that creates the best setting for this year’s eight artists, whom we look forward to presenting later.

The Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025 is scheduled to be held at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark on Saturday 1 March. The show will be broadcast live on DR 1 at 20:00 CET.

A total of 8 acts will be battling for the golden ticket to Basel at the forthcoming edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.

The DMGP 2024 competing acts are set to be unveiled on 6 February in Copenhagen.
