SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, has unveiled the running order for the Melodifestivalen 2025 Semi-finals.

The running order for the five Melodifestivalen 2025 semi-finals has been published today.

Karin Gunnarsson (SVT/ Melodifestivalen Producer) says:

 I can promise a star-studded starting field of popular artists and 17 debutantes, who are all aiming for the Songbird and to become Sweden’s representative in Eurovision in May. Måns Zelmerlöw returns to the stage ten years after his win, Kaliffa , Linnea Henriksson and Victoria Silvstedt debut. Country’s popularity is felt among the 30 entries and Scarlet makes a comeback as the last act in the fifth competition. So prepare yourself for strong songs and exciting performances – anything can happen in Mello.

Albin Johnson feat. Pa will open the Semi-finals whilst Scarlet will closed them.

Semi-final #1 ( Luleå/ 1 February )

Melodifestivalen 2025

Melodifestivalen 2025 will be travelling to Luleå, Gothenburg, Västerås, Malmö, Jönköping and Stockholm and is set to kick off on Saturday 1 February 2025 and conclude on Saturday 8 March 2025.

Melodifestivalen 2025 will consist of 6 live televised shows ( 5 semi-finals  and a Grand Final). A total of 30 songs will compete in the Swedish national selection, 6 songs will compete in each of the five semi-finals,  a total of 12 songs will compete at the Melodifestivalen 2025 Grand Final for the golden ticket to Switzerland. The 2025 Swedish Eurovision entry will be determined via a mixed public televoting/international jury deliberation.
