NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has revealed the Melodi Grand Prix hosts, date, host city and venue.
Melodi Grand Prix 2025 will consist of a single show with a total 10 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025. The show will be hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby. MGP 2025 will be held at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway on Saturday 15 February.

NRK will unveil the MGP 2025 competing acts on 16 January at a special press conference.
Mads Torklep (MGP 2025 Producer and Project Manager/Norwegian Head of Delegation) says:
Now we take the final back to sacred ground. Oslo Spektrum has been used as an arena many times before, and in 1996 this was also the place where the Eurovision Song Contest was held. No TV show in the country reaches as widely and engages as much as MGP. The Trønders have delivered a wild atmosphere in recent years, and now we believe that the audience in Eastern Norway can help create Norway’s biggest music festival together with us.
