Estonia: ERR reveals the first set of Eesti Laul 2025 finalists

ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, has unveiled the first set of Eesti Laul 2025 participants. A total of 16 acts will partake in the upcoming Estonian national final aka Eesti Laul 2025.

Preparations have kicked off in Estonia for Eesti Laul 2025 and Eurovision 2025. A total of 175 songs were submitted for the competition, a 34 member jury has evaluated all the submitted entries and have shortlisted them to 15. A 16th act will be determined by the Estonian public and will be announced in January.

The Estonian national broadcaster has released the names of the first set of competing acts:

  • Tuuli Rad-Rem’
  • Rapina Jack & Kaisa Ling ‘Tule’
  • Anna Sahlene– ‘Love Me Low
  • ANT-Tomorrow Never Comes’
  • FELIN– ‘Solo Anthem’
  • ELYSA- ‘The Last to Know’
  • An-Marlen– ‘Kulm’
  • Stereo Terror– ‘Prty Till The End Of The World

Anna Sahlene represented Estonia at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Talllin with her entry ‘Runaway’. She is vying to represent Estonia once again.

The Estonian national final is scheduled to on Saturday 15 February 2024.

The 2025 Estonian Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a 100% televoting deliberation during the Super-final after the three superfinalists are be determined after a combined jury/public voting deliberation.

Estonia in Eurovision

The Baltic nation attempted to join the Eurovision family in 1993 when it competed in the preliminary semifinal in Slovenia, unfortunately Estonia didn’t qualify and had to wait for one more year to enter the competition.

Estonia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Silvi Vrait and went on to win the competition in 2001 with Tanel Padar and Dave Benton‘s Everybody. The following year the Baltic country successfully hosted the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn.

In 2024 5MIINUST x Puuluup represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with their entry ‘ (nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midag’
