ERT, the Greek national broadcaster, has opened the song submission window for Eurovision 2025 as it will be holding a televised national final in order to select the Greek Eurovision act and entry.

Greece is gearing up in full steam for the forthcoming edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel and is working round the clock to organize an extraordinary and entertaining national final.

ERT has opened the song submission for Eurovision 2025 as of today with the deadline on set on 10 November. Artists wishing to compete in the national final and ultimately represent Greece at Eurovision 2025 can apply here.

ERT has also published the rules and regulations of the 2025 Greek national selection. Once all the songs are submitted, a special 5 member member jury will be responsible to evaluate all submitted entries and shortlist them. The jury will select up to 12 entries for the televised national final.

The running order of the Greek national final will be determined via a special draw. The 2025 Greek Eurovision entry and act will be selected via a 50/50 public voting- jury (international/ national) deliberation. The jury will consist of 2 sets of juries (national and international), each jury will consist of five members.

In the event of a tie the televoting result will prevail. More details regarding the 2025 Greek national final will be disclosed in due time.

Greece in Eurovision

Greece debuted at the Eurovision in 1974 and has won the event once in 2005 when Helena Paparizou stormed to victory in Kyiv with her mega hit ‘ My Number One‘.

Greece enjoyed its golden era at the Eurovision Song Contest from 2004-2013, achieving 9 top 10 placings in the Grand Final, including its 2005 victory. The Mediterranean country has partaken 44 times in our favorite televisision show.

In 2024 Marina Satti represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with her mega hit ‘Zari’.
