The Maltese national broadcaster will open the song submission window for MESC 2025 on 19 November with the deadline set on 29 November 2026. The Maltese national broadcaster has published the rules and regulations for MESC 2025.
A total of 24 songs will compete in the semi-finals ( 12 songs in each semi-final), the top 8 songs from each semi-final will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence a total of 16 songs will battle for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025.
The 2025 Maltese Eurovision entry will be determined via a combined jury/public televoting deliberation.
