Clouseaumania revives!

In 1991, Clouseau represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rome with the song Geef het op. The whole of Flanders was under the spell of the Clouseaumania. Twelve years later, they still break records.

Never before did the Eurovision Song Contest live so much in Flanders as it did in 1991. The whole of Flanders stood behind Clouseau, and the disappointment was rather big when Clouseau finally ended only 16th in Rome.

Twelve years later, Clouseau are still the most successful band in Flanders. Between 2nd and 22nd December, the two brothers Koen and Kris Wauters will fill the Antwerp Sportpaleis 12 times! That means that 210.000 Flemings will have attended the concert Clouseau – int midden in the Sportpaleis, doubling the previous Sportpaleis record, set up last year byClouseau.

Things are going slightly worse for Urban Trad, the Walloon entry for Belgium at this years Eurovision Song Contest. After their second single from the album Kerua flopped, they now had to cancel a concert in Ghent due to lack of public interest.
