Eurovision 2020: The potential venue for the Delegation Bubble unveiled

Following the official announcement of the 2020 Eurovision Host City, lots of new details have emerged regarding next year’s Eurovision edition. The Municipality of Rotterdam has unveiled the potential venue for the Delegation Bubble via its official bid book.

NPO and the City of Rotterdam are planning are planning to house the Delegation Bubble at Rotterdam Ahoy’s Hall 1 adjacent to the main Eurovision 2020 venue Ahoy Arena.

The Delegation Bubble will be nucleus hot spot of the circa 40 participating countries during the Eurovision weeks with the changing rooms, lounge area, cafe, make up rooms, hair dressers room, cloak room, EBU offices, technical area, viewing rooms etc.

Hall 1 has also enough space to house the Green Room in case there is not enough space in the main arena.

Rotterdam Ahoy’s Hall 1 has an area of 10,000 sq meters and is a versatile venue that can easily house the Delegation Bubble.

The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 12 , 14 and 16 May at the Rotterdam Ahoy. The event will be co-organized by Dutch broadcasters NPO, NOS, AVROTROS in liason with the EBU.
