Eurovision fans in the USA are in for a treat as the Eurovision Song Contest, as they will be able stream the 2019 and 2020 Eurovision editions on demand.

American fans will be able to watch the three 2019 Eurovision Song Contest shows as of Monday 22 July via Netflix on VOD. The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in the Netherlands will be also available to U.S.A viewers on Netflix after the shows have taken place.
Netflix, the American company which provides movie and series on an internet streaming platform has achieved U.S. video-on-demand (VOD) liscence rights for enabling American viewers to watch the 2019 and 2020 Eurovision editions via its platform.
Mr. Jon Ola Sand (Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor) says:
The European Broadcasting Union is thrilled that the world’s biggest entertainment show will now be available on-demand for viewers in the USA, one of the biggest TV markets.
U.S viewers will now get to enjoy all three of this year’s fantastic shows for the first time as well as the entire Contest in 2020. This is perfect timing with plans to launch a US version of the Contest in 2021.
