Day 6, let’s go! Good morning Europe and good evening Australia! We are back at the Expo Tel Aviv, as the second rehearsals for the 35 countries competing at the two semi-finals have now well and truly kicked-off! Today a further 11 acts will get on-stage for the second time, while the automatic qualifiers (Big 5 & Israel) will have their first rehearsals!

Following the conclusion of the day’s second rehearsals, the 6 already qualified countries of the competition (United KingdomFranceGermanyItalySpain and Israel) are all set to take to the stage for the first time, just eight days before the Grand Final.

Germany is the 17th and very last country to take to the Eurovision stage today for a rehearsal. The S!stersLaura Kästel und Carlotta Truman have arrived in Tel Aviv and aspire to bring one more successful Eurovision result to Germany, following Michael Schulte’s 4th place last year in Lisbon.

Although they sing from the two sides of the stage in the beginning, the girls meet in the front of the stage later and big letters of the words “SORRY” and “RESPECT” appear. While performing, their faces alternate on the LED screen behind. As the German entry comes to an end, numerous pictures of women related to each other in various ways appear.

The duo take to the stage, opting for black as their colour scheme. Laurita wears a short, tailored black playsuit, v-necked and flecked with gold, whilst Carlotta wears an outfit more akin to what we were used to seeing in their national final performance. She wears skin-tight, high-waisted, wet-look leggings, and a long sleeved mesh crop top with a cut out segment on the front.
