We are back at the Expo Tel Aviv, as the second rehearsals for the 35 countries competing at the two semi-finals have now well and truly kicked-off! Today sees the first 15 acts of the first semi-final again on-stage, ready to perfect their upcoming performances!
Opposite to the first bunch of technical rehearsals, where all delegations have a 30-minute stage session, this time is now shortened to 20 minutes. Afterwards, each country’s delegates will be attending their staging, vocals and lightning in the viewing room and any necessary changes will be requested. Besides their second rehearsals, all delegations will be giving a 20-minute press conference to the accredited press at the arena.
We’re halfway through today’s rehearsals, with the next three countries to get on-stage being Hungary, Belarus and Serbia. ESCToday will be bringing you exclusive footage from the hosting venue of Eurovision 2019.

Joci Pápai – Az én apám
One of this year’s returning artists is the Hungarian entrant Joci Pápai, who is back to better his 8th place in 2017. Barefoot on-stage, he will sing an emotional song about the deep father-son relationship. Hungary has been qualifying to the final every single year since 2011. What do you think of Joci’s second trial?

ZENA – Like it
The Belarusian entrant has opted for changing her clothing for the contest, this time adopting a more sporty look. However, she will still appear with white over-the-knee boots. Despite the bettings where she features among the bottom places, ZENA will try her best in order to bring her country back to the final with her pop entry Like it. Can she reverse all the predictions?
