Sertab Erener was scheduled Tuesday to perform on an Israeli TV show. 30 minutes before the show went on air, Sertab had to be rushed to hospital, and her performance was cancelled. Sertab was interviewed tonight on Turkish TV station, Kanal D, there she announced she will be back in Israel next week, just to attend the show she missed.

Many Eurovision fans gathered in Israel's Channel Two's studios last Tuesday to watch the Turkish Eurovision winner. An ambulance arrived at the studios less than an hour before the show started, but no one was aware that it was ordered for the Turkish singer.

When the warm-up act started, the floor manager announced that Sertab Erener had to be rushed to hospital as she was feeling very sick. This cancelled television performance was about to be the climax of Sertab's visit to Israel.

It was reported later on that Sertab's condition was fine. She was released to her hotel where she spent the night and the time left until her flight back to Turkey. Sertab and her crew were about to have a few free hours for a trip in Tel-Aviv on the morning after, but it seemed the singer spent her free hours resting and recovering.

Sertab was interviewed tonight on Turkey's Kanal D, where she announced her participation in next Tuesday's show, the same one she had to miss.
