The final line-up for the Grand Final of Sweden’s Melodifestivalen 2019 will soon be clear, as the remaining acts compete tonight for a second chance at reaching the final of Melodifestivalen 2019!
After four exciting semi-finals, the final heat of the Swedish national selection show takes place tonight, known as Andra Chansen, or the Second Chance round.
Eight songs, who finished in the third and fourth and spots in their semi-finals, still have a hope of getting a ticket to the hugely popular Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2019. This means they are still in with a shot of representing Sweden at Eurovision 2019, if they were to win Melodifestivalen outright.
As in previous years, the eight contestants will compete in four duels, the winners of which will proceed to the Grand Final on 9 March. These four acts will join the eight acts already qualified for the final, bringing the total number of acts in the final up to twelve.

Tonight’s show will be hosted by Marika Carlsson, Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor and three-time Melodifestivalen contestant and Swedish representative at the 2011 contest, Eric Saade.
