-Commercial break-
Song 01 – Adi Cohen – Rak al ahava (Just on love)
The first song is being performed by Adi Cohen. Rak al ahava is a pop power ballad performed in Hebrew and English languages. Adi is wearing a nice white gala dress which fits well this performance. The vocals of the main performer are at a high level. Nice opening.
Song 02 – Knob – Ohev et ze (I'm loving it)
Musical group Knob is next on stage and they perform their up-tempo electro pop song entitled Ohev et ze. Just like the previous performance, this act is being sung in English and Hebew languages. Although there seem to be some vocal problems, Knob manages to deliver a nice performance. The question mark sits next to the chances of this kind of songs at the Eurovision Song Contest. Would the European audience appreciate this kind of songs?
Song 03 – webcast problems
Song 04 – Idit Halevi – It's my time(Idit Halevi, Giora Linenberg)
Next song is being performed by Idit Halevi. It's my time is a mid-tempo pop song featuring a nice key change towards the end. The vocal performance is at a high level and this is one the best live performances of tonight's show.
Song 05 – Hatikva 6 – Hakol sababa (Everything is good)
Hativka 6 is now on stage performing their song entitled Everything is good. This is a nicely performed up-tempo pop song with jazz influences reminding us of The Cat Empire's repertoire. The vocal performance is interesting enough and the group receive a warm applause.
Song 06 – Niki Goldstein – Amri itach (I'll take off with you)
THe sixth song of tonight's show is being now performed by Niki Goldstein. Amri itach is a power ballad in the style of Marija Serifovic. The singer is being joined on stage by two backing vocalists and a group of instrumentists. Niki delivers a great vocal performance and this is actually a potential Israeli entry at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Song 07 – Sivan – Kach oti (Take me)
Sivan is now on stage and she performs her songs entitled Kach oti. Two backing vocalists are supporting this act. Sivan delivers a pretty impressive vocal performance which seems to be very much appreciated by the public. Kach oti is a up-tempo pop song, very radio friendly with international potential. Will this song win the Israeli ticket to Dusseldorf?
Song 08 – Michael & Shimrit Greilsummer – Tu du du
Next act is being performed by Michael & Shimrit Greilsummer. Tu du du is a mid-tempo pop song and also one of the big favourites to fly to Dusseldorf. This performance looks pretty non-conformist and seems to win the public's attention. The chorus features the repetition of the title all over. Although this act is a fan favourite, we don't think that it could convince the European audience to vote for it in order to make the grand final.
Song 09 – Dana International – Ding dong
The winner of the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, Dana International, is next on stage. She performs her latest song entitled Ding Dong, an up-tempo pop song with a 90's sounding. Dana is wearing a white gala outfit and is supported on stage by several backing singers dressed in various colours. Will this song conquer the hearts of the Israeli public, jury and fans?
Song 10 – Carmel Eckmann – Nosa'at el ga'agu'ay
Carmel Eckman is next on stage. She is the last singer to perform in tonight's show. She performs a pop-country song that wouldn't trouble the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. The vocal performance is at a decent level.
This concludes tonight's show performances. The results will be announced after the interval act.
Dana International wins the jury voting with 150 points!
Dana International will represent Israel at this year's Eurovision Song Contest!
