Serbia selects Nina for Düsseldorf

Nina will represent Serbia in the next Eurovision Song Contest. In the Serbian selection known as Pesma za Evropu three went head to head to win the ticket to Dusseldorf. The public selected this year's Serbian representative to compete in the first semi-final on 10th May.

The Kovac family, Kornelije, Aleksandra and Kristina, composed a song for the forthcoming Serbian 2011 Eurovision national final. Nina performed the song Caroban composed by Kristina Kovac. The winning song received more 14,000 votes. Aleksandra Kovac came second while The Breeze Band came third.

The event was graced with the presence of many singers and actors from Croatia and FYR Macedonia will be there too. The guests were Nina Badric, Dado Topic, Aleksandra Radovic, Jelena Tomaševic, Karlolina Goceva, Tanja Banjanin, Ana Stanic, Peti element, Boris Novkovic, and the actors Milan Kalinic, Nikola Bulatovic, Mina Lazarevic and Sergej Trifunovic. All the songs were played live by the RTS musicians’ ensemble.

Nina will sing the song Caroban in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Germany.
