UPD Israel: Carmel Eckman replaces Adi Casare in Kdam

IBA announced today that Carmel Eckman will replace Adi Casare in the Israeli national final on March 8th. Casare was supposed to perform his song Suicide for love.

Israel is one of the few countries that decided to pick up its Eurovision representative in March. Ten acts, including former Eurovision winner Dana International, will fight for the Israeli ticket to Düsseldorf. The winner will be chosen by a combination of televoting and jury's choice and will perform in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

After Vladi Blayberg decided to withdraw from this year's Kdam, IBA have announced that Adi Casare will replace him in the final line-up. Casare was supposed toperform a song entitled Suicide for love. It was decided that Carmel Eckman will replace Adi Casare in the final line-up of Kdam 2011.

The Israeli national final, Kdam 2011, will be held on March 8th at the Culture Hall of Rishon Lezion starting at 20:30 CET. The winner will represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 and will perform in the second semi final of the competition.

UPDATE : It was announced that Carmel Eckman will replace Adi Casare in Kdam. The song which will be performed by Eckman will be revealed soon.
