Greece: Finalist songs leaked again

Contrary to the directive given by the Greek broadcaster that none of the finalist songs were not to be aired before the official presentation tomorrow, the same people who leaked the song lyrics and claimed they had the full songs last year proceeded to do it again. The broadcaster reassures that there will be no disqualifications this year.

In an attempt to attract publicity, a certain local news site has leaked all six songs taking part in the Greek final for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. The Greek broadcaster will not penalize any of the participants with disqualification and the official presentation will go ahead as planned tomorrow at 19.00 CET. The presentation will also be streamed online for international fans to watch (more information here.)

Esctoday.com, respecting the wishes of the Greek broadcaster will not embed the leaked songs videos until they are officially presented tomorrow.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
