It seems that Glennis Grace’s impossible dream is a step closer to coming true, as she received a standing ovation from the America’s Got Talent-jury!
Little over a month ago, Glennis Grace revealed that she had been selected to audition in the new season of the popular TV-show America’s Got Talent.
The Dutch singer and 2005 Eurovision participant made her stage debut in the show and we got to see her performance before the judges and the audience. Glennis recently shared on her Facebook-page:

Celebrity jury members Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel were positively impressed by Glennis’ interpretation of Run to you, originally sung by her idol Whitney Houston. The singer showed nerve and talent, getting a standing ovation.

At Eurovision 2005
Glennis Grace (born Glenda Batta, Amsterdam, 1978) represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
With her powerful ballad My impossible dream she unfortunately did not go through to the Grand Final, placing 14th out of 25 contestants in the semi-final, with 53 points.
