A video showing the making of the revamped version of this year's Romanian entry Change was aired by TVR International during Marina Almasan-Socaciu's show. The new version of the song features a symphonic touch as Hotel FM collaborated with the filarmonic of Oradea.

Romania decided to elect its Eurovision hopeful during New Year's Eve. Thirteen participants took part in the national final which was part of TVR's entertainment programme for the New Year celebrations. Former Eurovision winners Johnny Logan and Niamh Kavanagh as well as Chiara Siracusa were the special guests of the event. Hotel FM, an unknown band from Northwestern Romania, won the right to represent their homeland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

Although their song Change received positive feedback from the Romanian audience and the international fans, Hotel FM decided to revamp their entry as they wish to achieve a better result than Paula Seling and Ovi did. A special clip showing the making of the new version of Change was aired by the Romanian television during Marina Alamsan-Socaciu's show on TVR International.
