Italy’s operatic pop trio Il Volo has released the Spanish single Noche sin día with Cuban group Gente de Zona.

Time for some Latin summer vibes with the song Noche sin día (Night without day), a collaboration between Italian trio Il Volo and Cuban reggaetón group Gente de Zona. The song marks a departure from Il Volo’s characteristic pop-opera genre.

It’s not the first time that Il Volo ventures into the Spanish language, as the trio is very successful in the Latin countries beyond their native Italy, yet Noche sin día is their first original Spanish release, embracing the popular reggaetón music style.

Gente de Zona is known from the smash hit Bailando by Enrique Iglesias.
