That was quick! RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, has become the first channel to officially open submissions for their competition Festivali i Këngës 57, the winner of which will most probably go on to represent the country at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
It’s been less than a week since the final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest took place in the host capital of Lisbon, in which Israel was crowned the winner of the 63rd edition with Netta and her song Toy.
Albania managed to receive their first qualification since 2015 in Lisbon, finishing in 11th position at the Grand Final with Eugent Bushpepa and his entry Mall.
