Despite statements claiming the Azerbaijani national final will be held this Friday, February 4th, today the country's public broadcaster Ictimai TV has announced that the exact date for the final is yet to be decided.

"The most recent and accurate information will be announced in the near future", says Ictimai TV statement. According to the Azerbaijani branch of OGAE, the date for the country's national final for Eurovision 2011 will be made public presumably tomorrow.

Five acts will compete to represent Azerbaijan in Düsseldorf: Ilhama Gasimova, Eldar Gasimov, Ilgara Ibrahimova, Aynishan Guliyeva and Nigar Jamal.
