TVE has announced the names of the 24 candidates that will compete in the Spanish Eurovision 2011 national selection, thus will battle out in the forthcoming Spanish semi finals. It now seems to be clear that 6 jokers will be revealed soon, thus making the number of competing candidates to a total of 30. TVE has scheduled a total of 4 shows in order to choose their Eurovision song and singer for Dusseldorf.
24 candites have been chosen from the 30 finalists announced earlier. Alba Lucía, Dani Alemán, Divas, Fernando Hidalgo, Lussi Bom and Sonia y Selena have failed to qualify for the forthcoming semifinals scheduled to be held in Barcelona and kick off on the 24th of January. TVE is working very hard in order to choose their 2011 Eurovision entry, both the song and singer will be chosen separately. We are now awaiting the names of the 6 Joker candidates, as TVE announced earlier a total of 30 candidates will compete in the Spanish Eurovision 2011 national selection. The first semifinal will be held in Barcelona on the 24th of January.
