Sergio Dalma's latest album, Trece has been selected as the best cd album of the year in a special gala aired last night on TVE. Sergio Dalma represented Spain at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Bailar pegados. He achieved an honourable 4th place in Rome and went on to become one of Spain's most sought after singers.

Sergio Dalma, the 1991 Spanish Eurovision representative is riding high these days. His album Trece, which was released earlier this year, has gone gold and was awarded last night with yet another prize by being selected as the album of the year at a special gala aired on TVE.
Sergio represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1991 in Rome with the song Bailar pegados, which has become into one of the most famous songs in Spain ever. Though he didn't win the competition, he came 4th thus losing out to Carola's Fångad av er stormvind. His song was recorded in Italian and French. Thatwasone ofthe main landmarks in his career,coming a long way since his Eurovision days.

Sergio enjoys name, fame and success on home soil as well as overseas. His latest album,Via Dalma,has been produced and recorded in Milan, Italy, and produced by Claudio Guidetti, who has worked with well known Italian singers Umberto Tozzi (Italy 1987), Laura Pausini and Eros Ramazzotti. Today he is among Spain's most sought after and popular singers.
