Today: Third semifinal in Ukraine

The third and last semifinal of the 2011 Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision will take place this afternoon at 17:00 CET. Eight acts will compete, six of which will qualify for the country's final (four chosen by the jury and two by the viewers via televoting), to be held on February 27th.

The show

It was several weeks ago when Ukraine kicked off its selection process for Eurovision 2011. Five quarterfinal rounds were held, with three qualifyers each. Over this month, three semifinals have been scheduled, with the last one taking place today. The last acts to qualify for the final will become known later this afternoon. Is remains to be seen who will qualify thanks to the public televoting.
