Hungarian Eurovision fansite eschungary.hu reports that the country's public broadcaster MTV will reveal their intentions towards a participation in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest on Monday, December 27th.

It has been rumoured these days that Hungary is likely to return to Eurovision next year. The country's public broadcaster MTV withdrew from the competition last year, which led to another tv station, Duna TV, to apply for full EBU membership in order to send a representative to Düsseldorf. Apparently, their bid was rejected and MTV could now consider a comeback.

If Hungary confirms participation this Monday, December 27th, there would be already 42 confirmed countries for Germany. Nonetheless, the official list of participating countries is expected to be released by the EBU in the coming days, shortly after Christmas.
