The Sammarinese national broadcaster SMRTV have informed esctoday.com that it will be making an official announcement in January concerning their represantive/s at the the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest scheduled to be held next May in Düsseldorf. San Marino debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 in Belgrade with the band MiOdio, who despite a great performance failed to qualify for the grand final.

SMRTV has confirmed to esctoday.com its participation at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, thus informing that an official announcement concerning the Sammarinese entry and representatives will be released in January. Who will represent San Marino in Dusseldorf? Will the song be in Italian? All these queries will be answered in early January.
