San Marino is the latest country to confirm its participation in Eurovision 2011. Alessandro Capicchioni, who was the country's Head of Delegation in Belgrade, told escdaily.com that the country will return to the competition in Germany.

This makes the 41st country to confirm participation in Düsseldorf. The final confirmation will arrive shortly after Christmas, when the list of participants for 2011 will be announced by the European Broadcasting Union. Earlier this month, Sammarinese broadcaster SMRTV told esctoday.com that they had applied for a spot in the contest, but did not express their full commitment in order to eventually take part.
