Bulgarian broadcaster BNT has confirmed today to the newspaper novinar.net that Bulgaria will be in Düsseldorf in May. The national television denied previous rumours claiming that they didn't submit their application on time, as they did it on November 26th.

Bulgarian Television will announce the details of their national selection for Eurovision 2011 at a later date. Hence Bulgaria becomes the 36th country to confirm its participation in next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Georgia has also confirmed todaythat they are entering the competition in Germany. Italy did so yesterday.

In 2010, Bulgaria was represented in Oslo by Miro and the song Angel si ti, failing to qualify for the final.
