Germany will celebrate the ESC 2018 with the traditional pre- and after-show at the Reeperbahn in Hamburg.
The pre- and after-party at the Hamburger Reeperbahn are annual events, part of the German Eurovision tradition. This years’ Eurovision Song Contest 2018 – Countdown für Lissabon and Eurovision Song Contest 2018 – Grand Prix Party promise to be grand shows, allowing fans to celebrate Europe’s favourite show even more.
Countdown für Lissabon is the pre-party, broadcast live on television from 20:15 CET until the start of the Grand Final on Saturday 12 May, while the after-party Grand Prix Party will start at 00:30 CET. All in all, broadcaster ARD will feature some five hours of Eurovision-pleasure for the viewers. Of course, there’s even more fun for the actual visitors of the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, which includes being able to follow the Grand Final on a big screen. People may also join the party through a live stream at eurovision.de.
Host and artists
The pre- and after-party will again be in the capable hands of Barbara Schöneberger, known as host of Germany’s Eurovision selection in the previous years. Barbara Schöneberger will be joined on stage by a line-up of artists, among them Eurostar Mary Roos (1972, 1984), this year’s national selection participants voXXclub, Lotte, Max Giesinger, Mike Singer and Revolverheld. Other artists and acts will be announced in due time.

Countdown für Lissabon and Grand Prix Party will be broadcast live on channel ARD (Das Erste) on Saturday 12 May 2018, before and after the Grand Final of Eurovision 2018. You may also visit the party’s held at the Spielbudenplatz, Reeperbahn in Hamburg. Admission is free.
