The two-time Maltese Eurovision contestant, Ira Losco, has released a new single, entitled One in a million.

One in a million was produced and mixed by Howard Keith at Jagged House Studios with Matthew Muscat Drago directing the music video featuring YouTuber Stella Cini and her partner in crime Daniel McLean. The song is a new single from Ira’s upcoming double album. It was first performed for fans at her concert last December, but has been kept under wraps for most of the public until now.

About her new release

The music video was viewed more than 50,000 times in the first 4 hours of its release, with many fans pleased her latest release. Ira Losco remarked:

I love working with different people on my music videos, keeping it fresh and matching the narrative and music with the featured artist or cast. Stella is definitely one woman to watch out for. Besides being incredibly beautiful she is also a natural when it comes to acting and extremely talented in her line of work!

The video was shot over two days at The Ramla Bay Resort and features a young couple’s love story and Ira posing as an outside force on the relationship.

The journey towards the release of my double album has been a long but enjoyable journey. In many ways it has given me the strength to challenge myself further. We’re getting closer to the finish line and it will be soon time to let go of my ‘baby’ and share it with others. There are over 22 tracks so there’s a lot of different flavours I’ll be bringing to the table and this track is indeed one of them. This song is about dysfunctional, toxic relationships, I’m sure there are quite a few people out there who can relate!

Ira will keep her fans guessing on the date, name and final content of her double release. Howard Keith from Jagged House Music Company added,

Ira was never going to make this an ordinary album. She is in top form and all I can say is that it will be worth the wait for her fans.

Her double album coincides with her 15-year anniversary in music. The artist is also expected to host a series of concerts and events throughout the coming year.

Ira Losco represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2002 and 2016. She has achieved Malta’s joint best-ever placing of second with her 2002 performance.
