Slovenia: Help create Lea Sirk’s official music video and win a prize!

Lea Sirk has launched her new website and a competition to help her create the official video for Hvala, ne! And win a cash prize to boot.

Ever wanted to create an official Eurovision music video? Well, now’s your chance! Lea Sirk from Slovenia has launched her new website and is actively including the public in the creation of the music video for Hvala, ne!, her Eurovision 2018 entry.

A call for creative talent

Everyone who wants to take a chance is invited to participate. The competition will be held from 28 March 2018 until noon on 5 April 2018, entries must be submitted via e-mail to [email protected]. The public is invited to submit their scenarios for a music video. From among the submitted entries, a special commission will select five finalists. The ultimate winner will also be chosen by the commission from among the five finalists.


Each scenario must be inspired by the message of Hvala, ne! The script must have video content and Lea Sirk must be featured for at least one quarter of the time (25 %).

Cash prize

In addition to winning the honour of creating Lea Sirk’s official music video for Hvala, ne!, the winner will also receive a cash prize of 2000 Euro’s.

About Lea Sirk

Lea Sirk (Koper, Slovenia, 1989) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter.

She began her professional career in 2006 and previously participated in EMA, Slovenia’s selection for Eurovision, in 2009, 2010 and 2017.

In 2014 she already graced the Eurovision stage in Copenhagen, Denmark as backing vocalist for Slovenia’s representative Tinkara Kovač.

Lea Sirk participated in, and evcentually won, EMA 2018 with the song Hvala, ne! (Thanks, no!), composed and written by herself and Tomy DeClerque. The artist will thus represent Slovenia at Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Lea Sirk will perform Hvala, ne! in the second half of Semi-Final 2 on Thursday 10 May 2018.
