The British postcard
SuRie, the 2018 British Eurovision representative filmed her Eurovision postcard on the island of Sao Miguel and visited the Gorreana Tea Factory, as well as the respective plantation. Gorreana is the oldest and currently the only tea plantation in Europe and has been operating since 1883.

I had a great time recording this postcard. Being British, it was perfect for me to see the process of making tea, because we really love tea! The plantation is magical and the view from the rows and rows of tea plants is simply mindblowing! Everyone was very hospitable and I drank the best cup of tea I have ever had ! Simply delicious! “
