Celine Dion, the winner of the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, gave birth to healthy twin boys after six in vitro fertilisation treatments and a miscarriage. Although her spokeperson announced that she was due to become a happy mother for the second time in her life in May 2010, her pregnacy had failed, but the world famous star finally realised her dream one day ago.

October 23, 2010marks a very important day in the calendar of the former Eurovision winner. The performer of the global smash hit My heart will go on, gave birth to healthy twin boys via caesarean section at St. Mary's Medical Centre in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As CNN reports, on October 18, Mrs. Dion checked into the St. Mary Hospital in order to ensure that she would not face an early delivery of the babies.

Celine Dion won the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 byflying the flag for Switzerland with the song Ne partez pas sans moi, but she achieved worldwide commercial success as soon as she released her fourth Anglophone album, Falling into you.
