OGAE Greece will be holding their annual festival tomorrow, Saturday 25 September at the Metropolis Live Stage in the heart of Athens. The organising committee promise the 8th edition of this popular event will be the best ever.

M.P.L.E., the annual music festival of the Greek branch of OGAE International, takes place tomorrow at a new, larger venue in the center of Athens. Hundreds of local fans of the Eurovision Song Contest will gather once more to share their passion and participate in this competition as members of the 25 teams each representing a country.

The preparations for this year's M.P.L.E.started back in November 2009 when the new organising committee was elected and the new rules were applied. 38 songs were submitted and two semi finals were held from which 24 songs proceeded to the final to take place tomorrow. So together with last year's winner, France, a total of 25 songs will be presented through specially made videos and postcards (Eurovision style) and the winner will be decided 100% by "televote".

The show will be hosted once more by the multi talented popular actor, presenter and scriptwriter Giorgos Kapoutzidis who is an ardent Eurofan as well. Mando, the singer who represented Greece in the 2003 Eurovision song Contest, will be the night's special guest and will perform for her loyal fans.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
