“Fly on the wings of Eurovision” is the title of the Olsen Brother's brand new CD album, released a few days ago on label MyWay Music. It is a collection of 13 tracks, which includes Eurovision standards, performed by the famous duet who won the contest 10 years ago.
The track-list is as follows :
Bang A Boomerang – A Swedish preselection song from 1975, penned by ABBA's Björn & Benny for Svenne & Lotta,
Love shinea light – The UK 1997 winner by Katrina & The Waves,
Hallelujah – Featuring Lill Babs, Israel's second winner,
What's another year – The 1980 Irish winning songRock 'n' Roll Kids – The 1994 Irish Grand prix
Waterloo – ABBA's 1974 winner for Sweden
Ein bisschen frieden – featuring Nicole – The 1982 German winning song
Save your kisses for me – The 1976 Grand Prix for the United Kingdom
Let it swing and let it rock 'n' roll – Norway's first victory, sung in Danish and English.
Non so che darei – featuring Alan Sorrenti – The 1980 Italian entry
Congratulations – The 1968 UK standard
Fly on the wings of love 2010 – A new version of Olsen's own victory
Smuk Som Et Stjerneskud 2010 – The same in its original Danish version
Strange is that the release was not made earlier in the Eurovision season. Interview in Danish, pictures of the Olsen with Nicole and Alan Sorrenti and TV ad can be found on front page of the record company's website.
