Tonight’s 3rd semi-final of Supernova 2018 in Latvia has concluded with the last qualifyers for the Grand Final.

In the past weeks, 21 acts and artists, divided over three semi-finals, took to the stage of Supernova 2018, Latvia‘s search for the country’s Eurovision 2018 representative.

Broadcaster LTV (Latvijas Televīzija) once again provided an entertaining musical show, hosted by Justs Sirmais (Eurovision 2016) and Dagmāra Legante.

Heat one delivered Liene Greifane and Edgars Kreilis as finalists, heat two intitially featured MADARA (Madara Fogelmane) and Ritvars as victors, while Markus Riva was afterwards permitted as a lucky finalist as well, due to technical voting errors.

With tonight’s qualifiers from heat 3, the Grand Final of Supernova 2018 will present seven potential Eurovision candidates. The two qualifiers were determined by a combination of professional jury vote and public vote which included internet views and Spotify streams.

The results

The qualifyers from semi-final 3 of Supernova 2018 are:

• Lauris Valters  – Lovers bliss
• Laura Rizzotto – Funny girl

Thus, the line-up for the Grand Final of Supernova 2018 is complete!

The Supernova 2018 Grand Final will take place on Saturday 24 February 2018 from 20.25 CET onwards.
