Montenegro has decided! Vanja Radovanović will represent Montenegro at the forthcoming 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon.

Vanja Radovanović was crowned the winner of the 2018 Montenegrin national final- Montevizija. Vanja will defend the Montenegrin colours at Eurovision 2018 with Inje.

After a long tradition of internal selections, RTCG the Montenegrin broadcaster reverted to a national final in 2018 in order to select the Montenegrin Eurovision entry for Lisbon.

A total of 5 acts battled for the golden ticket to Lisbon during tonight’s show. Montevizija 2018 was held at the Podgorica Hilton Hotel in Podgorica, Montenegro.

The 2018 Montenegrin entry was determined via 100% public televoting deliberation.

Montenegro in Eurovision

Montenegro debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 as a solo country and is yet to win the competition. The country has only made it twice to the Grand Final (2014 & 2015), whilst its best result to date is a 13th place achieved by Knez in Vienna.

Montenegro will compete in the Second Semi-final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on 10 May in Lisbon.
