Wildfire, featuring rapper Tiny, is the latest single by Icelandic singer Greta Salomé and the title track of the animation movie PLOEY.

Wildfire (ft. Tiny) by Greta Salomé is the title song of the animation movie PLOEY – You never fly alone (LÓI- þú flýgur aldrei einn). PLOEY, produced by animation company GunHil in co-operation with Belgian company Cyborn, is the most expensive Icelandic movie ever to have been made.

PLOEY tells the story of a little plover chick who has trouble learning to fly. When the other birds, his family and friends, migrate south, little Ploey is left behind and must survive the harsh Icelandic winter. His heroic quest to learn to fly becomes personal when he must also save his girlfriend from danger.

The script was written by Friðrik Erlingsson, the film directed by Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson and Gunnar Karlsson, and produced by Hilmar Sigurðsson and Haukur Sigurjónsson. APRI Worldsales from Germany has the distribution rights to the movie, which is sold to over thirty countries.

Greta Salomé is very proud to have delivered a musical contribution to the movie. Wildfire is a song that is very close to her heart:

BY FAR my most personal song! Raw, intimate and true. Sometimes beauty lies in the simplest things!

Written and composed by Greta Salomé, Emil Lei and Tiny, produced by Greta Salomé and Emil Lei, Wildfire is available at Spotify:
