The esctoday.com BigPoll is the largest and most accurate prediction poll on the internet for the Eurovision Song Contest. It has correctly predicted the winning country five times in the last seven years and last year also predicted 19 of the 20 semi final qualifiers. This year, more predictions have been made than ever before, with more than 55,000 predictions made so far.

The BigPoll allows esctoday.com members to predict the outcome of each semi final and later, the final. It then divides the votes into the participating countries to work out the scores.

SEMI FINAL ONE

The current predictions for semi final one, with just a little over 24 hours left to vote show four countries clearly heading for the final. eight countries look to be assured of a place in the final at this stage, with five countries almost certainly not going to make it to the top ten. Remember, if you have not checked the rehearsal footage, please do so and amend your predictions to make them as accurate as possible.

According to esctoday.com readers, the four countries that are most likely to qualify from the first Eurovision Song Contest semi final tomorrow are (in alphabetical order):

SEMI FINAL TWO

Semi final two has a strong split between 10th and 11th place according to the predictions made by esctoday.com readers. Of the ten songs currently predicted to qualify, the top two countries are quite a way in front. The first announcement about the positioning of the second semi final will be announced on Wednesday.

THE RESULTS

The BigPOll prediction tool closes for each show four hours before the start of the live broadcast. The result of the first semi final BigPoll will be announced at 17:00 tomorrow, with the second semi final BigPoll announcement on Thursday at 17:00 CET. The Grand Final BigPoll will open shortly after the second semi final has finished.
