Eurovision 2017 star from Belgium, Blanche, was victorious at the D6bels Music Awards 2018.
The career of young Belgian artist Blanche is going from strength to strength. After giving her country an honourable 4th place at Eurovision 2017, the former The Voice Belgique participant has been lauded for her distinct vocals and musical style.
Recently winning a prestigious EBBA or European Border Breakers Award, she may also add two D6bels Music Awards to her collection.
D6bels Music Awards 2018
The D6bels Music Awards are an initiative of French-Belgian broadcaster RTBF, celebrating Walloon (French-Belgian) artists. At this years’ show, which took place on the 26 January in Liège, Blanche won in two categories: Pop Artist of the Year and Revelation of the Year.
Blanche, who recently travelled to London to work on new material, was surprised and very proud to have won the awards, as she shared on Facebook:

Blanche at Eurovision
Blanche (real name Ellie Delvaux, Brussels, 1999) represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
With her entry City lights, a dark electro-pop song, she eventually reached an honourable 4th place in the Grand Final, receiving 363 points.
City lights became a huge hit in Belgium and abroad.
