Yesterday, as Norway celebrated National Constitution Day, a huge outdoor concert took place in downtown Oslo next to the Sea shore outside City Hall. Headlining the show was this year's Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest representative, Didrik Solli-Tangen. He was joined by current Eurovision King and 2009 winner, Alexander Rybak for a very special duet of Norway's home town entry.
Didrik Solli-Tangen sang My heart is yours to the violin accompanyment of Alexander Rybak. esctoday.com was of course there to record the moment as the Olso population went crazy for two of the nation's favourite sons.
Glam, from Wig Wam performed Lordi's 2006 Eurovision Song Contest winning entry, Hard rock Hallelujah as well as his 2005 smash hit and Eurovision entry, Love is all over me. .
Also performing were 2008 representative, Maria Haukass Storeng, performing My heart goes boom and her 2008 Eurovision Song Contest entry, Hold on be strong.
Bobbysocks performed a new song along with their historic 1985 Eurovision Song Contest entry, La det swinge, which took the crown for Norway for the first time.
Stig Andra van Eijk and Venke Knutsen also performed.
