A few days ago, Ovi's CD album, This gig almost killed me, has been re-released by the record company DaWorks, in Norway, with the 2010 Romanian entry as bonus-track and a special sticker to mention it.
Last year, Ovi (real name Ovidiu Cernauteanu) entered the Norwegian MGP with the song Seven seconds and even reached the final round. This was not the man's first attempt in Norway's Eurovision selection. He sang The better side of me in 2006.This year, Ovi tried his luck in his native country, Romania, singing Playing with fire together with Paula Seling. The duet won the national final with top marks from both juries and televoting, hence a maximum total of points.
Romania will compete in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 27th May.
