UK: Iceland wins first semi-final

Last Thursday the Retro Bar in Central London hosted the annual Douze Points video previews. A full house of revelers watched the songs from the first semi-final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest on the big screen. The audience voted Hera Bj�?�¶rk with her song Je ne sais quoi as the clear winner followed by Albania is second place and Finland in the third.


The audiences at the Retro Bar were divided in 17 juries, one for each participating country. No jury were allowed to vote for their own country and to prevent tactical voting each jury are made to swap to a different country for the final.

The Douze Points first semi-final results:

The top ten countries will progress to the Douze Points final preview on 13th May.

The second semi final will be shown on at the Retro Bar on Thursday, 29th April.
