Russia’s novelty act from Eurovision 2012, Buranovskiye Babushki, have released a brand new Christmas song.

It’s time to get into the festive spirit once more with Russia’s Buranovskiye Babushki, as the group have unveiled the music video for their latest release, entitled Novogodnyaya.

The writers of the song are Andrey Potekhin and Vladimir Luchnikov, and the video was directed by Kseniya Rubtsova.

Family get togethers, fun in the snow and Santa Claus all feature in the grandmother’s fun new single, which you can listen to and watch below!

Since their Eurovision participation, the grandmothers have since raised enough money to entirely rebuild their beloved church, which was in a state of disrepair.

The outside has been completely reconstructed, but work is still ongoing on the interior.

Buranovskiye Babushki competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, where they finished in 2nd place the grand final of the Baku-hosted competition with the song Party for everybody. Relive the memorable moment below!
