Lithuania: Familiar faces feature in Eurovizija 2018 line-up

The first few names who will compete in the Lithuanian Eurovision selection in 2018 were revealed, and amongst them are some previous Eurovizija competitors.

Earlier this week, the Lithuanian national broadcaster – LRT – revealed the first list of names of the competitors who have submitted their entries for the nation’s upcoming national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

Plenty of familiar names feature in the last line-up list, including many former national selection participants together with 1 former Eurovision representative. So, who is set to compete in the upcoming selection?

Named artists revealed

The first name to appear in the recent list of names is Erica Jennings, who previously represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 as part of Skamp.

As well as the singer being confirmed, her official song entry and title has been unveiled, which will be Truth.

The other names revealed for the Eurovizija 2018 line-up, most of which have previously participated in past editions of the Lithuanian national selection process, are:

  • El Fuego
  • The Roop

Further names of the competitors are expected to be unveiled in due course.

Speaking of the country’s upcoming selection, the presenters of Eurovizija 2018 said:

The Lithuanian Eurovision national final kicks off next month on 6 January 2018.
